Dr. Anwar Khurshid

Professor Emeritus

Suleman Dawood School of Business

Dr. Anwar has more than nineteen years of teaching, research and consulting experience in the USA and Pakistan. He joined LUMS in 1994 and is currently serving as a Professor and Associate Dean of the Business School. His previous roles at LUMS include three year as Dean and two years as Associate Dean of the School of Arts & Sciences from 2003-2006. He was the programme director of the MBA Programme from 1998-2000.

Dr. Anwar’s specialised areas of teaching include business management and computer science, organisational behaviour, management of change, organisation development, human resource management, telecommunication and management of technology. While teaching at LUMS, Dr. Anwar has designed, developed and conducted Executive Training Programmes, including Leadership and Teambuilding, Leading and Managing Change, Business Process Reengineering, Project Management, Strategic Management, Management Skills Development, ISO 9000. He has developed and taught a variety of courses in areas of organisational behaviour, management of technology, leading and managing change, computer architecture and networks. He has also served as Project Leader for several consulting projects for the World Bank and other international donor agencies

Dr. Anwar has also provided his expertise as a consultant in HR development of various public and private organisations. He has authored several research papers and published articles in national and international journals
